Enclave is a product of Extranetic Inc., a Massachusetts software company founded in 2005. The product is new. The discipline behind it — building and operating software other businesses put their names on — is two decades old.
The company
Extranetic has built and run software businesses since 2005, including a white-label education program operated for partner organizations across 33 states — a decade of delivering under other people's brands, which is exactly the discipline Enclave's partner model asks for. Enclave is the company's private-AI platform: the production application layer for organizations that need AI on their own hardware, behind their own firewall.

The founder
Enclave's founder, Rian Sousa, designed and built a U.S. state treasury's private AI platform from scratch — multi-agent retrieval over sensitive financial data, local models, enterprise single sign-on and role-based access, zero-trust architecture, Kubernetes. Enclave is the clean-room productization of that architecture: the same design decisions, rebuilt as a platform any organization can deploy.
